National Boxing Championship Warms-up for SEA Games

PHNOM PENH: The 2021 National Boxing Championship has been organized as a warm-up for the SEA Games 2022-2023.

The event is happening from this Thursday until Sunday, with the purpose of strengthening the sports for the upcoming 2023 SEA games, in which Cambodia will host the championship.

The match attracted the participation of around 104 male and female boxers from 21 clubs and associations across Cambodia.

The update was shared by Secretary General of Cambodia Boxing Federation competition, Buy Sophoan, who underlined that such competition is a good opportunity to further prepare Cambodian boxers for international contests, especially the 2022 SEA Games in Vietnam and the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia.
